Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy

At TalesByThreads, we understand that many parents prefer Cash on Delivery (COD) for a convenient and worry-free shopping experience. To ensure smooth order processing and reduce fraudulent orders, we offer COD with a partial advance payment.

COD Terms

•    A 20% booking amount is required for all Cash on Delivery (COD) orders.
•    The booking amount is adjusted against your total order value and is not an additional charge.
•    The remaining balance can be paid at the time of delivery.

Returned COD Orders

To ensure fair processing of COD orders, the following terms apply:
•    If a COD order is returned due to:

o    Refusal to accept delivery
o    Incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer
o    Customer unavailable after multiple delivery attempts
o    Non-response to courier communication
o    Failure to accept the parcel within the courier’s delivery window

     The order will be treated as a Returned COD Order.
•    In such cases, the actual return shipping charges incurred by TalesByThreads will be deducted from the booking amount paid.
•    The remaining booking amount, if any, will be refunded within 5–7 business days after the parcel is received back and inspected by our team.
•    If the returned parcel is received in any of the following conditions:

o    Damaged
o    Tampered with
o    Used
o    Washed
o    Altered
o    Missing tags
o    Missing accessories or components

     The booking amount may be adjusted against the actual loss incurred.
•    Refunds, if applicable, will be processed only after the returned parcel has been received and verified.

Important Notes

•    COD is available only on eligible serviceable pincodes.
•    TalesByThreads reserves the right to disable COD for customers with repeated order refusals or failed deliveries.
•    The booking amount is non-transferable and applicable only to the order for which it was paid.
•    By placing a COD order, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms and conditions.
